Main focus and contents of studies
Continuation of the Mechatronics course from 2009
The former Diploma course in Mechatronics will be continued in Celle from 2009 onwards as a Bachelor course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng). This course of studies is currently undergoing the accreditation process. A top class committee is taking part in this recognition process and will ensure the quality of the contents and the requirements of business. From October 2009 teaching is to take place in new premises. To date 17 students have already enrolled for the course. By 2011 it is planned to increase this number to 100. This seems very realistic thank to a cooperation programme with a Turkish educational sponsor.
