Main focus and contents of studies

COMPUTER SCIENCES FOR BUSINESS Industrial companies and public institutions with complex IT systems are among the potential employers of those graduating from this course. Here the students learn how to adapt the companies’ business processes to the changing conditions in industry and how to further develop the IT.

For new students who want to begin in October 2008 there are 20 well-paid study places available for Computer Sciences/ Computer Sciences for Business. Sponsoring companies like HDI, Höft & Wessel or VGH pay all the student fees, monthly pocket money and offer a long-term job perspective in their company for the students they sponsor. People applying for these grants should have above average grades in their advanced school leaving certificates, be highly motivated and committed and should in addition to their studies be involved in sport, politics or social organisations.
